Nutrient help

Ok guys I have been sifting through the forums I can't really find what any kind majority recommends for nutes. I am beginning flowering under a 400W HPS and need to get my hands on some hydro nutes. I am using a dripper system with a 2:1 blend of perlite and vermiculite. Any help is much appreciated cause I need to be ordering these suckers pronto.

go the canna bloom , won't go wrong , then test away and compare results in future grows , also add superthrive and maybe pk at the right stage of flower . oh and watch you don't overwater the vermiculite , toss shit that bro , holds too much moisture imo ..

Yeah I found out about the vermiculite the hard way. I had enough perlite to do it alone. Washed it all then realized I had some vermiculite laying around and mixed that in. Sucks that I did that. Thanks for the help.

 

Were you referring to the Canna Aqua Flores, PK 13/14, and SUPERthrive? I'm sorry I am getting so technical I'm just trying to get it right.

yeah i say go canna aswell i use substra, 3rd or 4 week in just dump some pk 13-14 in with the nutes for a week ditch the vermiculite its nothing but trouble and messy canna have a whole schedule for the thing on there site.. here

been using canna for ages never done me wrong

Shalom everyone, the PK 13/14 is $20 U.S. Is there anything else that is recommend by fellow growers that might be a little easier on my Jew stash? I am going to buy the Canna Flores (bloom) and am wondering if anything else would be beneficial/efficient for good bud production.

Even though PK is kinda on the expensive side, its worth the money imo...

 

All it is, is a high source of readily available Phosphorus and Potassium, thats it really..

 

I think other brands have a similar type of additive, for instance Advanced Nutrients has "Bud Blood", it has a higher concentration of P/K, but more or less does the same thing.

 

One thing about the Canna PK 13/14, it will last awhile, you only use it at week 5/6 of flowering for 1 week only, a little goes a long way so to speak..

was gunna say bm for pk 13/14 u can get the 250ml bottle which is about $10 i have a 30l res myself u only need to use it for one week so 15ml every 10l = 45ml so the 250ml bottle will last more then one grow even if u choose to use more one thing i would save up and get is RHIZOTONIC great stuff works wonders on the root system

Yeah I was looking at the Rhizotonic but the budget was hurting. This grow is still just something put together from some mid seeds. The next grow will be White Widow and will be much more serious. On that note I actually have a question. I don't actually no what strain it is but I can say it has a strong pine smell to it. I know that pretty much all weeds I have tasted that smell of this scent are pretty good stuff. Do all stems and leaves give off this odor or am I actually right and this is a little better than expected?
