General Cultivation Q&A

Hi crew I had a clone off a mate and he says it’s a Swiss cheese or something , but it didn’t take off straight away in coco a month ago so I unpotted it and flushed the roots and put it in my dwc about 3 weeks ago under a 250mh It’s bounced back but the leaves look oddly shaped almost round and has what I can only describe as strange pistils(?) on it . I have some 1 week old seedlings that we’re going to be next indoor run. Been running them 18 / 6. I have a few too many for my 3x3 so want to place some of them outdoors. My question is how long can I leave them under 16/8 indoors before putting them outside and not making them go into flower? I know they can’t flower for at least 3 weeks anyway but will the light interruption screw with them? I was thinking not if I get them out in the next week or so but never done it before? What ph level does everyone recomend, I’m using advanced nutrients micro,grow & bloom which is made specifically for the plants but I’m getting a reading of around 4.7 and I’ve been told 6.8 is the go, should I raise the ph of my solution or keep it as recommended as its cup winning nutrients, cheers Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey peeps! Started a grow diary mainly for myself to be able to look back on....... but have a question on nutrients. Soooo much information out there that it just becomes a head fuck...... girls have really popped out there first true leaves over the last few days and looking at first hit of nutes in the next couple of days....... thinking of following this for the first grow, but only using cal-mag plus the flora trio, which I already have waiting. Hey crew When flipping the lights to flower do you let the tips of the plant come up through the net , or do you keep training them under the net the entire time to expose the entire branch to the light ? I’ve been training them but then once flipping I’ve let them naturally come up through the net - noticed it’s then shading out a lot of the popcorn buds which would have more potential if it was laid sideways and they could turn into big colas themselves is that the go ????? So I’ve got 8 x clones of choc skunk cbd just taken from an indoor plant that’s just about to flip. I also Just received my long awaited sss beans (Zombie Disco and nice chunk). I’m going to do both and outdoor and another indoor run. My query is to what others would do given the same situation; 1. Grow a mixture of all strains both outdoors and indoors? Fun but challenging especially indoors. 2. Grow 1x specific strains in a specific set up so you can really dial it in to the one strain. Just had 3 new seeds crack overnight in glass of water. Transferred to wet towel method ( on plate) on a heatmat. Will put them in a 2 inch soil pot in a day or 2, once taproot shows more prominently. Once I move them to soil, should I put the pots on a windowsill ( facing sun), or are they ok to leave on heatmat( in darkness) until they just pop the surface of the soil ?? Some seedbanks advise there is no need for ANY light until seeds break surface of soil, which seems contrary to nature?

So I'm trimming my feminised northern lights that's been hanging just over a week. I'm finding the occasional seed in the bud So my question is, is this normal, and would they be any good to grow? Cheers
