I'm interested in some suggestions in regards to flushing my WR, I have had the nutes at 1.5 - 1.6 for nearly two weeks now and I am due for a res change. I've read a few differing opinions on flushing between res's and am not sure whether to flush at all, flush with a low EC level nute batch or flush with PH adjusted water. Also how long do I flush for? Should I just run the flush through for a couple of ten minute feeds or for a whole day? Jimbo

I've been looking into going to tafe and get a certificate in horticulture or something along the lines of that. I want to grow and sell fish fruit and veg by having a aquaponics fish farm and I need to learn. So i'm after a course that could help me with growing marijuana hydroponics and aquaponics while learning all about growing plants and fish ect... What my goal outcome from this is to open a small aquaponics farm where I can live and work and produce a income that i could easily live off and grow lots of marijuana at the same time. I'm looking for courses in SouthEastQ.L.D unless there are courses over seas that only involve growing marijuana then I would do that …

Well i am looking too build a clonebox out of a spare cupboard i have just using a couple of 48W CFLS for it. Just wondering what you guys consider too be the "optimal conditions" i.e.e humidity: Temperature: soil moisture level: airflow: I will be able too add exhast fans for climate control and was thinking of trying too build a metronome sort of thing too keep the humidity in whilst the fans arent on... like flaps that shut then the fans tun off. As for creating a humid environment i am really unsure how too go, i can put my old fishtank heater in a bucket which may give off some moisture or some kind of automated mister. I have looked into this a bit and think tha…

Heaps of people ask me how to take clones…when to take clones...so I have done this little tutorial. Propagation of cannabis can happen a few ways, as explained in Marijuana Botany, by Robert C Clark, an older book but I think its one of the best and every serious grower should have a copy. If you don't have a copy…then I suggest you get one. Just Google Marijuana Botany Sexual Propagation starts with a male and female plant, once the female has received the pollen from the male the seeds will start to form and take about 6-8 weeks to mature...these seeds can be planted and the life cycle begins over...obviously the females are the ones we prize, but we do need a ma…

If we want to deodorize the air in our grow rooms, eradicate air and water borne diseases caused by humidity, bacteria, viruses and organochlorines in our nutrient reservoirs, ozone generation, both air and water, seems like an excellent option. Has many of you out there used ozone to good effect? I'm considering forking out the cash 'cos I reckon it'll save me some down the track and increase yield.

Hey all Braman, Ratfish and Loliam here we were just wondering before we start to grow what is the best soil and what should we look for in the soil for example softness, moistness etc. Also could you suggest any good potting soils for the seedlings. Cheers Fellas.

The power of hydrogen peroxide The Amish started using hydrogen peroxide in agriculture. Amish people spray their string beans after they're done yielding, with a solution of hydrogen peroxide several times in the morning. Those beans re-bloom, and they get another 1-3 pickings. They spray it on their cabbage and on their cauliflower and potatoes, and the bugs leave. They spray their alfalfa with it and they find that they get 6 inches more growth, and the alfalfa aphids and weevils leave. An ounce of 3% H2O2 per quart of water used. Spray the solution on the leaves as well. Hydrogen peroxide treatment of seed Seeds germinate faster, with bigger sprouts when they are firs…

Hey everyone I am just about to start my first DWC ScrOG Cabinet grow but before I start I want to try and sort out how to use all my additives and shit that I have bought. I want to try and germ my seeds by soaking them in a solution of GT Oxyplus. I have found numerous posts and info regarding the dosing for 3%, the old 35% and the supposed new 17.5% H2O2 concentration. I had assumed that my bottle would be the 17.5% but I just read the label and it says 50% H2O2!!!! I tried to take a photo but the print is quite small and my camera must be too old for the job! It says on the directions that 2mls per 10 litres should be added to the nutrient solution every 2-3 da…

I recently purchased 2 new strains from van isl. seed bank in Vancouver, DNA's Connie Chung and Next Gen's Grape God. I got 10/13 females w/ the CC and 3/10 females w/ the GG. I am about 95% sure that I got rid of all the males before they popped. I flowered after approx. 5 weeks from germination and had all the males out by week 4. I was also growing Sour D and White Widow which have been grown sensi many times w/ no issues. Anyhow, my power company is sh** and my light cycle got a little messed up prob 2 or 3 times for a couple of hours each time. I also used cheap duct tape to block the light from my veg room which I discovered was not totally opaque about 8 week…
