General Cultivation Q&A

Hey guys, I purchased some seeds off the net a few months ago and they didn't turn up which was really annoying. I am still really keen on picking out a strain and getting the seeds etc. I got them from www.nirvana-shop.com and am not to keen on losing another $50 to just have no seeds turn up. What has everyone's experience been like? I would desperately love to be able to experiment with different strains etc. as I love experimentation and testing results. Is there anyway i can get access to different strains etc. without throwing money at a number of different online suppliers and seeing what comes in?

OK so had trim down my indoor mums bloody growing into the light and had all these bloody cuts that i just didnt wanna throw out. As i have enough clones already goin atm and have a few flowering i have no rush or need put more inside ( till i get more lights at least ) So decided just do an experiment for shits n giggles. just wondering if i can tell if they are goning to be girls yet... they are brantching off less than an inch apart and are very leafy... ive herd this is a good sign of it being a female.. as where the male will have farther apart branches and less leaves... here are some pics..

So incidentally I had to use a 1000WMH for 2 weeks before I could purchase a new 1000WHPS bulb and ballast to replace the old ones that busted. We all know MH creates lankier plants and HPS creates bulkier bushier plants. If your trying to get the most weight out of a grow, try throwing under a MH for two weeks during flowering. Youll get that extra 4 inches of stem growth (approx) which adds more weight to your final harvest. IT DOES stress the plants, adds an extra 30 days (approx) to your overall harvest. Whereas mine would have taken 60-70, they are now going to be somewhere in the range of 90-100days flower, but nice 16in (sorry from USA) colas on top Just a…

Hi people Just wondering if anyone has used oil fillad radiators to keep the heat in their grow room as my room temp is dropping down to 68 degrees and would like it back up to about 72 -74 degrees . Bought a fan heater the other day but no good for the plants , Any advice would be great , thanks people

Those are all black death clones from the same mother, flowered out over the last 12 months in different mediums and growing conditions.... Edit: changed last pic for later one of same plant.

I recently took 5 clones out of the humidome I made and had decided to make mothers out of these 5 strong clones. Roots had formed and were growing out and had fresh growth in leaves. I put these 5 in their own 18 gallon bucket with net cups, air pump, nutes, hydroton, for a Deep-Water Culture. 1 week later upgraded from a 400W MH to a 1000W MH. Temps still under 83 and thats only when the harvest room is operating (1000WHPS). Now the problem - The mom clones are having 1 leaf growth (just 1 finger not 5, 7,9,etc) and other wierd irregularities with leaf formation. Is there an any damage been done to these from something or is it OK for now...??? Thanks.
