General Cultivation Q&A

Hello, i am from europe and want to spend a few mounth in Oz. I am only comman to grow in bad climate, like tassi (rain, cold) so I have a few questions. I prefer the Nimbin area, Cairns or Exmouth area. What you think about this idea? 1.Which area is the best for growing in Oz? (I want to grow outdoor, time march to oktober) 2.In which area is the most outdoor- space, water... 3.where is the possible penalty lowly? In NSW? I will be very happy about a few ideas and opinions. thanks

I was reading the label of ozitonic and comparing the ingredients to monstabud and they are the same except for the level of potassium being lower in ozitonic.So what is the point of using it at all.It is basically the same stuff.I dont se the point,just sounds like smart marketing on their part to me.

hey all, my plant got shocked when i first planted the clone becuase i fed her on 800ppm of nutrients and she didnt like it,she was taking all the food out of the leaves and growing a massive root system...when i noticed i had a nutrient problem i flushed it several times and i am running pure rain water wish a 5.8ph....now she has taken off in the last 3 days and been on rain water for 1 week and 4 days should i start them on nutrients again and what level should i start at? i dont want to shock them again!!!!!

Hi Guys, Well it's time to get the grow underway again. I was wanting some opinions though on a couple of technique variations. For my last grow, I did all indoors with 1000W and I got nice, firm, tight strong bud. Using the same seeds again, I was thinking of either: 1) Growing outdoors (veg) and then in eight weeks, moving indoors for four weeks under 1000W HPS at 11.5 hours a day. 2) Growing outdoors until early January (veg), then giving outdoor light (no hydro) for 11.5 hours and indoor darkness for 12.5 hours. 3) Growing outdoors for 8 weeks then indoors - with alternating natural light and hydro light for the last four weeks. Okay so been looking at all the different types of oder control Carbon filters: do I need to have it vented to outside or the roof space? would it be bad breathing in the carbon or ozone the filters emit? ozone: are there any bad human side effects of using? Hi, I will soon plant about 12 plants, 3x400 hps, in 90 l pots Cause there are a lot of strains awaliable I would like to know what are the best strains that flower to max 60 days high yield with smoke that lasts 3-4 hours with 2 peaks purple, red, yellow, white strains as for purple I will probably make sea of green with BC God Bud under one 600 hps Peace

Hey all I've asked this before, however I would like some input from the coco pros, first time grower, starting with coco, have some clones I need to transplant from soil to coco, anyone able to provide a fairly simple process? Also, anyone know a great quality coco supplier in WA(also general hydroponic supplier would be great). I'm keen to shop around and such ofxourse referals would be great. I will spend the extra buck for quality assurance and once I get going expect loads of pics! The strain is great white and I'll be putting it into a feed and drain 100%coco system. 4 plants in what I believe are 30L pots. (if any of that info helps)

Hello fellow stoners.I have a couple of Questions regarding Cfl's.I have switched to 12/12 on a 100w 6400K CFL and the plants seem to be sexing nicely.My Questions are do I keep them on 12/12 or switch back to 16/8 after sexing and when should I change the Light to the 100w 2700K light?I am sure these Questions have been answered else were but Funnily enough I'm too stoned to look..This is my first grow and will try and set up a grow diary after I've finished the sexing and picked out the best.

hey guys, Im about to start my 2nd grow and thinking of doing a dwc sog but using the dutch method(12/12 from seed). Being only my 2nd grow im just tasting around for any hints n tips any1 has to offer. Have many peeps had great success with this type of grow?? What major differences should 1 expect??...Will my seedlings still throw nodes or should i expect 1 punkus maximus nug?? Any help would be great, Cheers KB=]
