I came across this post by backcountry 2009, thought it might be of use to Aussie growers suffering from the stifling heat. Here: .icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=128405 detail: icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=108418

Quick question, I know you can do it for tomatoes, but if you replant a cannabis plant, can you bury the trunk further than what it has been previously? With tomatoes if you repot them deeper they will send out roots from the trunk where it is covered with soil basically, does the same principal apply here or will doing that create trunk issues? Reason I ask is one of mine that was eaten has got one shoot regrowing, but right at the top of the plant. The trunk isn't that thick, and am concerned once it takes off that it will snap due to the weight being top heavy.

hey, a week or 2 ago the buds on this plant looked like they were coming along nicely, really fattening up with lots of white resin on the leaves and more bud than leaves but this week there just appears to be a lot more green leaves everywhere they seem to be all over the place. could this plant have started to re-flower again ? any tips on what to do now or does this just need patience and a waiting game ? damit was hoping to smoke this naughty girl over the xmas break

Get really high and ready for some real talk for once. Organic is great everything should be Organic. Why do I feel Hydro bud is worth more then Organic then? Organic fertilizers, soil, ect. are not great they are really high in arsenic and other heavy metals. Arsenic can be found in nature yet it kills most life, do I feel smoking it is better then say bud grown with General Hydroponics? Honestly, I would rather smoke GH. Weed shouldn't be grow or sprayed with Chemicals or Organics that are toxic or neurotoxins in any way, and should be priced accordingly in a higher manner. Monopotassium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, ect. I stay far from. P.S fluorine is natural, …

Hi all About 8 weeks ago i didn't even know what a scrog was, but having done a bit of research am attempting it on my first ever grow. My gut feel is that my little bit of knowledge is probably dangerous in this situation and I will most likely regret my decision. So wanted to show you all how it looks and get some advice as to whether I should bother or is it too complex for a newb? Strain: train wreck by greenhouse seeds Age: about 6 weeks (grown from seed) Thanks P.S can't seem to attach pics via iPad, will do so in the morning on my laptop.

Interestingly enough, after cultivating for 35 odd years, I have yet to discover if there is an ideal time of day/temperature/moon cycle/humidity/any other factor, for the pulling of the plant ceremony in order to achieve maximum efficiency. I have heard many interesting and some not very probable 'ideal' moments to rip em out. If there is any research I can do, or if anyone has already researched and can save me some moments of random concentration, I would truly appreciate your response. If you have heard dead certs from a mate or someone bragging at a party or school reunion, there is most likely to be little validity to the theory since no one in their right mind will…

First time poster here, just a quick question on pot size. A few years ago i was growing afghani and hindu kush, i was growing them in 140mm pots, good quality potting mix in good lighting in my orchid house. I'm assuming due to the pot size the plants would only get 15-20cm tall at max. I'm now getting back into cultivation, unfortunately i no longer have the pure strains any more so will just be growing bag seed. Again i will be growing outdoors. I plan to germinate indoors in jiffy pots then transplant outside into larger pots. Dont want anything too big just to make hiding a little easier if need be. What pot size would be recommended?

Hey yous, I'm looking for ideas for a stealthly, low-profile way to get one or two plants on my backyard veranda. They'd have to stand up to casual scrutiny, but I understand there isn't much that can withstand close inspection. I'm living in a suburb where its hard to locate good guerilla sites, and I don't have the time to do a lot of looking (young kids eat up time like you wouldn't believe, and there's no way my wife is going to accept me popping out for hours just to look at the ground). So, I'm thinking of how to do this with things like creative trellising, fake clip-on flowers etc. It seems there must be some material here, but since OzStoners has been g…

Hi all again, The soonest I can start grow here is mid January, any suggestions/experience will be much appreciated. I am planning to grow sativa dominant strain outside, in soil. Will have the option to move the plant indoors later on if necessary.
