Nimbin Hemp Bar a drug haven no more

THE free-wheeling days of buying cannabis and pot smoking at Nimbin's Hemp Bar and the Nimbin Museum are over – or so it would seem. The Nimbin Hemp Bar has been revamped and reopened as part of the Hemp Embassy and will not tolerate drug deals and smoking on the premises. The Nimbin Museum has installed cameras to help stomp out drug dealing. A fence is being built beside the notorious Rainbow Lane. Museum founder and operator Michael Balderstone confirmed his associate Elspeth Jones had applied to take over the museum. Lease negotiations are still being finalised. Mr Balderstone said two of the four museum security cameras have been stolen. Hemp activist Gar…

MMS Humble

I just wish to advise that I have found what I know to be the best drug, supplement, treatment, etc. that I have or will ever find in my life. As there are laws about what can be said regarding medicines, etc. I will refrain from advising that this stuff can cure cancer, AIDS, malaria, fungus, cold, influenza and such like. The results occur in hours not days after starting with this stuff. Moreover, as it cannot be patented and the ingredients can be purchased easily it is very, very inexpensive. I couldn't be bothered making it up myself so I purchase it for $14.50 which includes $5.00 postage. If you are at all interested I suggest that you Google “MMS Humble” and shou…

Hey all BJ Here again. As i posted some time ago with my dramas of getting busted growing and getting off with the great result of No Conviction Recorded, i now have another dilemma. Basically i am going for a computer job. I have a long history of working in computers and am currently shortlisted for a new job. The question on the forms asks me to disclose anything charges i have been found guilty of or had a conviction for in the past. I called QLD police and they said that my recent charges from last year of No Conviction Recorded for growing / posession etc will not show up as no conviction was recorded. However i have read conflicting information online a…

Ever wonder why, despite all the evidence to support the value of Cannabis and Cannabis derivatives to health and the welfare of the seriously ill, that our government still considers us stoners to be outlaws, and still criminalises the consumption of pot? Read this. I know it's wikipedia, but the external sources link to primary source documentation. This is similar to other international agreements that our successive parliaments have signed us up to without referendum. It makes for very interesting reading. Apologies if this is not the correct thread, but the Belladonna I'm curently smoking has my brain doing circus tricks! Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs

Greetings, Stoners! The rich narrative of the Australian cannabis community, with OZ Stoners standing tall at its helm, is a blend of trials, tribulations, heartening comebacks, and the unwavering dedication of its members. Let’s delve deep into this riveting tale.
Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
The Lighthouse of Today and Promise of Tomorrow
