http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/news/may...-marijuana-ends Very interesting. And yes we do have it here in Australia. If you ever get on the jury for a Cannabis case, make sure to persuade all the jurors to use jury nullification. Just don't let the prosecutors know that you know about it or you won't get on the jury

Courtesy: cannabisculture.com (SALEM, Ore.) - The history of cannabis products and their use has been long, colorful and varied. "To the agriculturist, cannabis is a fiber crop; to the physician, it is an enigma; to the user, a euphoriant; to the police, a menace; to the trafficker, a source of profitable danger; to the convict or parolee and his family, a source of sorrow". The fact is that cannabis has been held simultaneously in high and low esteem a…

27/03/09 http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/articl...wKNmEAD975OIB81 ©2009 Google JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli police say they have seized thousands of marijuana water pipes in a raid on a factory in northern Israel. Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says police entered the building in Haifa this week and confiscated 15,000 bongs that were planned for distribution. He says the factory's 60-year-old owner was arrested. Pipes and other drug paraphernalia are a common sight at Israeli kiosks. But Rosenfeld said Thursday that these items were banned a few weeks ago and police are cracking down. The majority of marijuana is smuggled into Israel by Bedouin across the porous b…

Anyone have any info on this BS? "Heavy hit: cannabis syndrome alert * March 23, 2009 - 5:08PM There is mounting evidence to support the existence of a syndrome afflicting heavy cannabis users, after the world's first cases were found in South Australia. The condition "cannabinoid hyperemesis" was first identified in a group of about 20 heavy drug users in the Adelaide hills in 2004, and a new case has emerged this time in the US. The syndrome is characterised by nausea, stomach pain and bouts of vomiting - ill effects which, oddly, sufferers say they get some relief from by having a hot shower or bath. The new case, involving a 22-year-old man in Omaha, i…

Howdy I thought this might interest some of you. In parliament a few days ago, Luke Simpkins MP made the most remarkable speech out of the blue. It was in reference to the article in The Age titled 'Labor softens heroin stance as it splits from US policy'. Although Simpkins spoke about drug policy in general you may be interested to note that he considers cannabis as dangerous and addictive as heroin. This means that he considers regular cannabis smokers are addicts and should have their children permanently removed as well as other bizarre strategies. I wrote more about it here. Thats my opinion anyway What do you think, for discussions sake if this was to really happen?? Do you think it would solve or create more problems?? Also, if all current laws stayed the same but weed was legalized do you think binge drinking would decrease?

LEAP Blog: My Anticipation Blog
by Alison Myrden- 2 replies

This week’s LEAP Blog is about issues that I have been anticipating for the upcoming year in a very positive way both here in Canada and in the United States. 2009 will certainly be an interesting one for our countries. Barak Obama has now taken over the presidency of the United States and the country is about to change for the better. Obama is a Democrat, which is our saving grace. So am I. Although some die-hard Republicans call us bleeding hearts, a least we have our hearts in the right place. Democrats in both Canada and the U.S. have a similar vision and a defiantly North American view of the way their country should be run. In Canada on the other hand, the NDP, …

Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
The Lighthouse of Today and Promise of Tomorrow
