The hpm digital is a nightmare to program, might try the arlec cheers porkstar.

 

Think I’ll grab a few different brands probably wise to have a few critical spares on hand.

guy at the hydro shop told me i should have a 20amp one.  So he takes one off the shelf and puts it in the bag... get home.. its fucken 10 amps. oh well. had 3 lights going through it and it was fine.

If you run 1000w lighting the off the shelf timers can fail to switch.

 

The hydro shop timers have 20amp internals

Yeah mate easy as to program and it been fine for 8 months.

It’s running 840watts through it.

Only running a small system 400w light and a few fans, the circuit is 16 amp I’ve never tripped the breaker.

 

I did a bit of a search and apparently black outs can fuck them up, stop them from switching.

 

Honestly think it’s past it’s used by date had this particular timer a few years.

you just had to ask, yeah mate first thing I checked, the system was running fine last few nights I’m fairly regimented went to grab a lady drink and could hear it still running ffs went and checked it switch was on the program side. Once u flip no need to touch it it’s set and forget or so I thought.

 

I’m back up and running now I’ll stay up drinking make sure it switches tonight.
