Aussie seeds banks currently experiencing online problems

Caveman dispatched order in full 2 days after i paid. Got a free seed and a few cool stickers.
Small selection but i will go back again for sure.

5 from 5 seeds have sprouted so far.

I tried Caveman. They have sold out of Aussie seeds. They only have some overseas strains from a company called new420 seeds guy. Unfortunately the seeds from that overseas company don't have a very good online reputation. My recent experience with overseas seed banks has been poor - nil seeds from 13 have germinated( 3 different strains) from a different seed bank. Alongside them I successfully germinated 3 other seeds from an Aus company, however recent strong winds blew over my cold frame, and I need more viable seeds.

Sounds like your germination techniques may be flawed.

None of the seeds from other 3 overseas strains even opened up in moist paper towel. They could have been older seeds, but I waited 19 days already. I've put them in the garden in case they sprout later on.

Fred. I subsequently lost all 3 small plants in the cold frame outside. We had 35 knot winds last week that blew the frame over, taking the pots and seedlings with them

so it not just me southern star is down, a shame because i have an order that i placed and paid for back in june, at the time i was told order would not arrive till they got back from os (mid august), but if i paid then i would get a double order. sent a message today, will wait for reply but not holding my breath

I have ordered through them before without issue and they have a good rep so i had no reason to suspect they were ripping me off. sent them  a message, they sent back this reply
