One thing after another

Recommended Posts

Hey soots. Is there any particular kit I should be looking at. I have a soil kit. Prob no good for dwc and I remember it being a pain in the ass. I have a pen that set me back about 45 bucks. Seems to be ok but i like a more accurate reliable reading. I always have problems with the lower calibration solution.

Most fish shops will have the pH tester fluid and test tube. Or hydro shop. Or online. It's all the same stuff.

And I know my name's not soots lol

I haven't read many of the answers in this thread. Did you check the PH of your tank water? I have found galvanized iron tanks have a pretty good PH reading straight out of the tap, whilst plastic tanks (from what I have learned using water from a plastic tank) always have a high PH around 8 and I have tested water from three different plastic tanks all gave the same high PH reading. So if you haven't taken a PH test of the water it might be worth looking at that as well.
