I was setting it up, but me tents about fucked, the plastic zip , not really enough height, need two more feet

 

might have a bit of room in a corner to set up one tub, maybe two, do a google scrog, instead of just running a top net

see what happens when the weather clears up in a week or two, got some old tubs ready to go done somewhere

 

bit hard to carry them out into the sunshine tho

Hey Newbud,

It ain't that complicated to setup a recirc system, not at all. Hell, if I can do it, anybody can.

I wouldn't recommend an off the shelf recirc setup, the one's I've seen have been cheap and shonky. Often they won't have all of the specific bits for your specific needs.

Make a plan, buy the bits and build. But by quality, that way you buy once. Buy cheap and you'll be spending shitloads getting replacements

It all comes down to what works for you mate. I did my first DWC run. I was like you. Thought hydro would be over complicated. It put me off until a mate booth a pro pot system so I got one as well. I didn’t have a lot of luck in soil. Just lacked experience. The grow in DWC was easy peasy. Easy to manage ph levels and nutrient uptake. Just whatever nutes you get, print out the chart and start with no more than half. Just keep checking your ppm and that will tell you all you need to know. As merl1n said, if he can do it and especially if I can do it, you can do it.

 

I got over 4.5 ounces just from shitty blurples. I couldnt believe it. An auto nonetheless.

 

Looks like Hyalite on ebay are selling different kits. This kit is pretty much similar to what i got but it doesn’t look like it comes with a water pump. You just need that to hook up to the dripper.

If going dwc, buy a good ph pen and 2 calibration fluids so you can make sure it’s correct! I’m weeks behind due to a big ph screw up

Dunno what I'm going yet

No idea to be honest

I have ph pen

Have ppm meter too.

 

Bit concerned about temps n cooling in summer.

 

I have a small submersible pump never used, might be usable.

 

Surely I'd need minute timers?

 

Not sure if go recirc or dwc

 

Not sure all pros cons what's best for me
