I agree to an extent man. But with rigs dialled in right with a par meter you can definitely get close to the same penetration. Have a look at the trees grand master level has grown under 550s mate he grows like 6 footers. Ya don't get those massive donkey dick hps buds but I still get golf balls down 5 nodes and haven't gone under a gram per watt since my second grow, and plenty of them. IMO it's all about the even spread of light. And you can achieve that with both types of lighting the majority is grower input and genetics tho. I think we all spend way too much time on this lighting topic I'm all for an educated debate but the majority of people around here just like a good witch hunt. I'm not going to comment on the lighting anymore. There's 100 threads dedicated to it. I think we just need to get back to the growing. Fuck all the drama.
