How is it to start seeds in Bg?

 

Think the op would be starting from scratch by sounds of it.

 I didnt plant straight from seed when i used it... I would be tempted to start off in seed raising mix in a small pot till it had a few nodes.

It is a very dense mix, so thought it might be better to have the roots a bit more established prior to going in to it ?  dunno.. DNG would be the best to ask.

Don’t knock it till ya try it..

 

(Coco excluded).

I would try it, but i might wait till i see a decent grow using it, you know a big plant that has been finished properly 

not a little half done one

 

bit bloody expensive tho, $100 to fill a 50l pot, would need to spent a few grand for the season

Im going to bye a bag or 2 and add it to my mix i get from the garden place to see if means less fert is needed.

Seeds should germ in a coots type mix no problem, maybe make sure there ain't a Scoria stone right beside it.

 

This type of mix is well proven imo, lots of info on net, granted base ingredients maybe lil different in Oz but this base mix has been around a long time, well before the internet.

In fairness the plant looks real nice.

Depends on the volume your diluting into and how fertile that is I guess.
