Sorry to say with that budget don’t go LED or else you are just shooting yourself in the foot. Get an HPS. Cheap and will give results. Also the power usage isn’t crazy in them.

You need to be at least somewhat specific if your asking for help ..

 

You could run a 50w light ,but that's in a small area and you won't get much yield.

 

You could Use 1200 w in the area you mentioned with a high yield potential.

 

So what sort of yield are you after ?

 

And how much power do you think you could handle using ?

Dunno on current prices but I'd look at 2x 600 hps

Go hps... make friends with gumtree and buy 2nd hand digital ballasts. Whatever you do you shouldn't cheap out on led cos their efficiency is not much better than hps. 500 bucks worth of efficient led will only cover a small area.

i just want to get enough to supply myself , 1/4 a week 

ive heard leds are cheap to run

 

im unemployed and cant afford no big power bill
