We need this legislation now. I pray within the next few years tops. Looking on Facebook I'm so over seeing people calling cannabis a gateway drug. It hurts our cause big time.

Too right we do Aqua. As the federal government has said on several of these petitions, it's a state and territory issue and they are correct. Drug laws, laws on alcohol and tobacco are state legislation when it comes down to it. We need to be putting the pressure on our state and territory governments. If we can get one or two states to legalise, the rest will eventually follow. Although it could take decades in some cases.
