Thanks for the good advice guys. Its a real shame i fell for this rubbish and i hope others and myself dont make the same mistake again B)

Pure; just as i read your post it reminded me how the crook in question said somthing along the lines of 'ive done my time in prison'... although its clear he wasnt a cop, dont police officers need to be clean to be police officers?

Also the police station he mentioned dosnt actually exist! Cuntstable Smith he called himself :devilred:

i personally would ring up vicroads etc and say ur about to buy his car and would like it checked out before buying just to make sure its not stolen or cloned etc ... im pretty sure you'll get his number then harass the motha fuker like crazy.

If that kunt pulled me over in the park i woudlnt have given him shit all ... fuk cops a large majority of them are crook.

How fuked is it that cops get free food etc ?? My friend use to work at a kfc and he told me every night the cops would get all the left overs ... thats like bucket loads of popcorn chiken and they get something like 60% off maccas.

How many cops have you seen that arent chubby ??

Bogus cop in robbery rampage

By Shelley Hodgson

December 22, 2004

A FORMER policeman believed to be masquerading as an officer is wanted over a rampage of terror and robbery.

A man wearing a police shirt has been impersonating an officer to steal wallets, mobile phones and even cigarettes. All the victims have been Asian.

Police want to speak to Steven Walton, 34, who left Victoria Police in the mid-1990s, after serving for six years.

The bogus policeman has struck in suburbs including St Albans, Sunshine North, Footscray, Richmond and East Melbourne since last month.

Investigators said the imposter has intercepted cars, conducted fake roadworthy checks and body searches and taken names.

In one attack, he allegedly chased his victim, tackled him to the ground and robbed him before driving him to Richmond police station and telling him to wait inside.

The bogus policeman never returned.

Police have launched a manhunt for the ex-cop.

Checks for Mr Walton at previous home addresses have proved fruitless, with police now on the lookout across the state.

A call to Crime Stoppers last Friday alerted police that the robber might previously have been in the job.

"He's purporting to be a police officer, which people should be able to trust," said Acting Det-Sgt John Pattison, of Richmond CIU.

Det-Sgt Pattison said the imposter's police shirt was old but authentic, with Victoria Police badges but no epaulets.

He also wears blue slacks and black shoes. He does not wear a utility belt.

None of the victims have asked him to produce any identification.

"He's dressed in the shirt so they're just assuming that he's a policeman," Det-Sgt Pattison said.

"He knows the jargon and the police operational stuff."

At least nine people have been robbed.

About 9am on December 16, the bandit stopped a man in Victoria St, Richmond, and told him to get into a light brown Toyota Tarago, registration CS901, which was stolen from Crown casino.

The victim ran and the fake policeman gave chase, eventually catching him and tackling him to the ground.

He took the man's wallet, mobile phone, jacket and cigarettes, then took him to Richmond police station and told him to wait until he returned.

The following day, the stolen Tarago was involved in a hit-run crash in West Melbourne.

Anyone who knows Mr Walton's whereabouts or has fallen victim to the police impersonator should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000.

And they wonder why no one likes cops.

They trained him and worked with him for 6 years and no one saw or took notice of the fact he was a psycho.

I guess when you are surrounded by like minded people you fit right in.

Cops are not to be trusted and this guy was either not a cop or he was a cop who robbed you. Either way it doesn't make a difference. IMO you have to be practical and each situation is different. If the guy wants to steal your dope and money and walk away you're probably lucky. Those situations can turn real nasty. If you want to risk having a knuckle with a 6 foot 2 ape thats your decision. Just make sure you get the first hit in and make it count. That is if he is impersonating a cop. If he is a real cop you are likely to escalate the situation by asking for ID (not a badge number, whoever suggested that watches too much American TV) and you risk getting booked for posession/use whereas before all he wanted to do was to steal your dope.

So I guess you gotta decide whats the better option, let the cunt take your shit and walk away, or stand your ground, risk getting the shit kicked out of you or if you're lucky and he is legit a court appearance and fine. personally I'd let him walk with my shit, anything else you do is unlikely to result in a better outcome.

Ummm... niall... beleive it or not the guy in the newstory is the guy. THAT IS FCUKED UP. The only thing that concerns me is that i reported the goon to the police recently, im not asian, so maybe the police just didnt connect the dots too well. I seriously dont want to call crimestoppers just for the fact their TV ads give me the shits... Edited by lsd
