cool 

you can use it to test lamp life when you get a new ones

 

just have a set point you measure from under the light

along with a set height for the lamp & you'll have an idea when you need a lamp change 

by the slow decrease of lux 

 

if in a tent , might need a flat stick to attach the sensor too , so you can close up for 

the added door refection & still move the sensor round the tent to get readings
