Carbcon
Some nice plants guys, both itchy and weedmonsta. Coconut meal top dress for flower do the same as the liquid once watered in itchy? I'd love to try a sip but baby steps here. Got the bio char, maybe time for a itchy mix.... Nothing wrong with construction workers weedmonsta

Carbcon
Copy that on the bio char, not exactly cup friendly chunks, guesstimate? Can go go juice activate it? Think I read it can? Have vrd and azomite, vrd same as basalt right? Have crustacean mix, that sub ok for crab shell meal? Dolomite work here too? Haven't done seedlings in soil for a while. Was all Coco last year. Seems I have had a few slow down, roots visible at bottom. Time for repot. Maybe have to get a few in final pot this weekend. Still quite hot in qld. Carbcon
Cheers itchy. Haven't got round to another mix yet. Quick update on existing. Cover crop coming through nicely on all pots. Keeping them moist.Maybe a touch of nute burn and or heat stress? Some have laid over and some have yellow edges. Hot today though. Had a few that laid over, not sure what they are. Looked like a lupin seed. Ball that splits and then a few shoots inside. Clover going good in batch 1. Hope it can get through the mulch. Also had a giant Russian sunflower raised in Scott's seed raising. Transplanted into a peat/vermiculite mix I made for seed raising but added 20% castings. Looking forward to see how it goes. Also a pic of some red clover in one of those strawberry kits that Bunnings sell. I mixed in peat and vermiculite to the mix provided. I can virtually see them growing today. Carbcon
Cheers. Reckon I have watered a bit too much. Just don't want them to fry in this heat. A dark colour on stem at soil line on the ones that fell over indicative of too wet soil? Will cut the water back for sure Edited January 20, 2018 by Carbcon
