I'm with ya Pedro totally agree, it's just a shame we live in the greatest country on earth and yet are so behind thanks to these fucking useless politicians. Also imagine the taxes people would face pack of smokes is 40 bucks, hate to think what weed would cost. Them fuckers have there finger in every pie. From what i gathered in the news last night our Dr's have only seen story after story where people are addicted to cannabis and cannabis is the unfolding of family's where cannabis has been the cause rather than a cure for the small percentage

 

now what i seen on the news is the government is going to invest in schooling some dr's on the use of cannabis which i think is great they are all anti now but we are turning there heads in all the right directions, you only need to teach one dr and it will unfold slowly he or she will tell another dr of their opinons and how it can help beneficently and so on and it will convince others too

 

don't forget there is still alot of stigma around cannabis, there are people out there that won't approve of it even tho it is legal for medical use, they are still stuck in old ages i think it may take generations before we see a better understanding of weed, what one is born into in life is generally what they think of it in life.

Yea, Beyond paranoid. They were giving me a mixture of pharma crap. I've got boxes of shit (pharmas) here, everything from heart meds to psych meds to painkillers from tablets to patches. A few years ago they had adverts on TV warning about mixing drugs and yet they've given me a mix of everything.

But those Lyrica they were nasty.

So now I check for myself.

A dr suggests a med, gives me a script. Before filling the script I get online. What is it? what is it for AND what are the interactions with other substances AND what are the side effects. I have once needed to tell a dr not to give me a certain med (a statin) due to its interaction with other meds. Some dr's think they know it all. THEY DON'T. This is why I keep 'me' informed. I have a list printed on a card in my wallet, which meds for which ailment, which strength and times I take them. I also have it listed with medic alert.

Medically speaking there are 8 things with meds that need to be checked when administering meds, they call them the 8-rights. Right patient, right med, right strength, right time, right route, right method, right to refuse and write it down. This is basis of the info on the card.
