I vaguely remember a war tv show in the early 70's, it might've been Combat. Anyway, got this idea I wanted to be a paratrooper. So got my brothers old cardboard port (school bag, backpack style with leather straps), knocked off some fishing line, and a garbage bag out of the kitchen. Went ahead and assembled my parachute, climbed up the top of the chook shed and proceeded to jump off the bugger. Of course the parachute never opened and I knocked the stuffin' outta myself. And there soon ended my desire to be a Paratrooper
