Is this the start of pest or a deficiency?

So I noticed these small white spots this morning. Could somebody please let me know what they think it is.

yup, it's something for sure
what, I have no clue
tho most pests can be controlled with neem oil

or pyrethrum spray

 

someone else will come by and iD the pest no doubt

i'd put $10 on spider mite damage = get some more opinions

Awesome thanks for the tip. I had a closer look little red critters about the size of a pin head under the leaf

Yup. Spider mites. Pyrethrum spray.

need to identify cause some of those little red/orange fucks are beneficial 

google beneficial soil mite & have a look at the pic's 

 

some cases you need a scope to see some pests

why you try & identify by the damage but by then there in 

IPM = weekly spray B4 you have probs during veg

Yeah i would need a scope to see them, I can barely see with my glasses on .

I will spray them anyhow. But thanks for the advice of spray before a problem.

Actually come to think of it, thats what those hundreds of little bugs in my worm compost must be... thank you for the info. None of my pther veggies get sprayed.
