It's amazing isn't it with clones.

Some growers say do this because if you don't then...etc etc.

Some growers say the exact opposite because..etc etc.

Buy seeds is my advice, Clones take far too much patience and even then you'll be lucky to get any to strike.

They always look so cute and pretty for about a week and then that's about it.

In my decades of succesful grows, I've only had a few clones, maybe 5% actually work.

All I can add is I wish you heaps of luck and if you have some success then PLEASE continue posting with your secrets.

Thanks Tracy.

And not just clones. There's so manI'my different views on how things should be done with all styles of growing. Can be misleading and confusing for new growers. I've learnt is all relative to you and your set up\conditions. Do research (even if it does differ... lol), Learn from your mistakes and if you enjoy it, you'll find your flow eventually. :)

Thanks for the wishes, and the same to you

Hey all.

Little prob with my dwc bubbler. Its a new grow/set up and the clones have only been in the tub for 3 days. they are still standing but the leaves have a lot of yellow/orange/brown spots and are quite droopy. The droopyness I put down to the pot up but the spots are a worry. Could this also be down to the pot up and light change? or a deficiency??  I am using rain water, pre bubbled and the water temp is 22deg, room temp averaging around 26/27deg. Cooltube is about 600m away from the plants. Nutes are Cultiplex 2 part vegg atm, plus rootstym......

Hey capt!!!

this is what i just did, .....using a sharp sterile blade take a cutting with three nodes, slice on 45deg angle, just below the third node, trim the fan leaves down by 2/3.. scrape the bottom inch of the stem..dip the sliced end in rooting powder, then place in a pre soaked(phd low nute water) rock wool cube or jiffy

place in a container with a clear lid, mist with a spray bottle daily, vege light cycle, high humidity.. 10 days i have new growth.

or just take cuttings and stick em in a glass of water on the window still, they will shoot.... grandma style.. lol

or using  a DWC, with worm wee and canna coco nutes.. lol

And a tip they will always root quicker, if the mum is in vege, cuttings taken in flower, have to revege before any roots can form, and some times they dont live thru the process..

hope this helps...
