keep us updated on using raw aloe for rooting cuts 'bro. This is something new to me

sorry ford , not my pic , my tiny aloes aren't big enough yet

if you look at the back of the rooting gel bottle

& search the names , you'll find them in aloe or kelp

except for the man made pesticide ingredient they use in the shelf stuff

you can re-hydrate the kelp then mix with water & add aloe to soak your plugs

& also do as the pic direct in aloe leaves then into plugs , if you have big enough aloe leaves that is

you can even go as far as making & aloe & kelp cold pressed tincture & using that for cloning

& a health feed for the plant

aloes are def a good plant to have round the house

that was for a neem pest spray , yeah , using silica as your emulsifier

the potassium silicate i use http://www.nutri-tech.com.au/products/liquid-fertilisers/premium-liquids/potassium-silicate

is 2.5mil per liter , have the water your using lukewarm , helps to hold the emulsification

Aloe vera powder i use http://aloeveraaustralia.com.au/aloe-vera-powder.html ,

you can see why it's nice to have a few aloe plants around the house , $$$$

however , depending on how many plants you have 100g will last some time

& you'll need a few aloe plants to cut & not kill if using regulaly

they also have these http://aloeveraaustralia.com.au/aloe-vera-fertilizer.html

use aloe at 15ml per liter of the made up aloe juice

5g powder makes 1lt juice , powder can take a bit of time to mix in with the water

if using a live plant , same amount of aloe applies , assuming you have a healthy aloe plant to fillet ,

i haven't used the inner fillet cos my aloe's are to small

to a jar add a little bit of lukewarm water , add silica , mix then add neem , put the lid on & shake the fuck out of it

should go creamy white color , add the aloe to the spray can with the rest of the warm water

add the jar to the spray can & stir / mix / shake , whatever , just check the surface of the water in the can

to make sure the emulsification has stuck , bits of oil on the surface of the water is not a good sign

regularly shake the spray can as you spray , the lukewarm water will be getting colder , considering it's only just warm

& def no where near hot

after writing the how 2 i should have just linked this vid https://vimeo.com/111994556 just for the process

the agsil16h is the silica

hope that helps mate

G'day itchy and co . Been away for a bit.   I use the aloe leaf and magic bullet it (15ml/L...ish) but one thing I now remember to strain it lol That , neem and the Silica and they might have a chew but don't like  it and end up leaving.  Not making baby hoppers and not eating....grasshoppers are the bane of my garden.   Learning every day :D

sweet , did you use oils or made your own using raw ingredient

no liquid soap required , silica will do any emulsification for you

understand only 2 drops & it's not a prob but just don't need it

if you do feel the need to liquid soap . like because the emulsification hasn't stuck

i like Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Pure-Castile Liquid Soap , you can get the

peppermint scented soap which will work as a bug spray all on it's own

& at a few drops will last some time , not as cheap as ya vegetable liquid soap

interesting to see how " He " looks tomo

don't be shy to change it up & just do a silica & aloe spray
