ABC website poll on Aussie Cannabis legalisation

I just checked the last 5 pages. No other poll comes close to that level of response. The second highest which I already quoted was about that mysogyny speech by Gillard which stole all the headlines for a few days. I might email the ABC and ask them if its the most popular poll they have ever had. No way am I checking all of the back pages. They have 28 pages of polls.

Voted. ABC currently 57% in favour and 43% against. Channel 10 a staggering 92.07% in favour leaving a pathetic 7.93% of killjoy dags against. I guess only stoned people watch channel 10. I can understand that.

 

Channel 10's target demographic is the younger viewers, mainly between mid teens to late 20 yr olds

 

ABC, well...they're not exactly bidding for the rights to air Jersey Shore or whatever other TV show has boobs and alcohol

 

I really hate that kiwi. He is such a jerk.

Looks like the issue will sell papers so should get some media coverage at least.. It has got to be a topic for insight or lateline in the near future (like next week), surely

I have tomorrow morning off and will be keeping a keen eye on these two shows.

Would not suprise me if some growers vote no.

I think the problem might be that the ABC poll mentioned decriminalising Ecstasy & Marijuana, as opposed the Ten poll that only mentions decriminalising cannabis. Either way they both show more in favour than against decriminalising it.
