The first time I watched Vanilla Sky, I was really high from hitting the bong. I got to say though that movie was so fucked. The movie was a blowmind. However I think its one of those movies you can only watch once.

You guys left out the greatest movie of all time - Sandy Harbutt's STONE. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072209/)

 

Chock full of smoking and drug references it has some of the best lines ever. One night at a bar I made the barman repeat the stone lines of "D'you sell beer here?" scene it was a pisser.

 

The bikers in it smoke from chillums and joints and it all started cause Toad was tripping and got into the wrong place at the wrong time.

 

The same bloke who played Toad in Stone also played Toecutter in Mad Max & I think the makers of Mad Max ripped heaps of stuff of from Stone.

 

I have a few of the doper DVDs, I have the aforementioned "Grass" with Woody Harrelson, also Marihuana & Reefer Madness. A few days ago I picked up "The Cocaine Fiends" which is in a similar vein to the other 2 propaganda movies for 5 bucks at a book fair.

 

I can't say I really like watching movies heaps, unless it's one I have a burning urge to see, I prefer to stick on a music DVD & drool over Jim Morrison or whoever.

hi all, i only read the last page of posts to see some opinions on the best movie to watch while wasted......for me...there is no choice....first up is "yellow submarine" by the beatles. just awesome graphics and classic beatles music. second......hard chioce here....."2001 space oddessy" or any "star wars" movie....the first one being a mind blower for me when i first saw it.....and.for a totally exhausting buzz, "matrix matrix matrix"...cheers...chuff

Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy .. its wacked as it is.. but as a movie.. man.. zaphod has two heads!!!! and is called zaphod beeblebrox... need i say more!

 

next Battle Royale... its full of japanese School kids (inc that crazy chick from kill bill) all trying to kill each other... werid shit.. but funny

god that movie sucked so bad, it was a half arsed rip off of trainspotting with gayer drugs.

 

and since when was zaphods name not zaphod beeblebrox, he has always had 2 heads. its just harder to picture while reading. I never seen the movies though.
