Agree looks a lot like a sativa Dom strain, 3 - 5 weeks.

 

I am not with ozzy, tacking a lower branch and testing is not a good thing as you are still feeding your girl pk, fert and boost. All you will find is a harsh smoke, that's full of chemny...... Yuk!!! Need 10 at least of fresh water to clean the girls out. 2 weeks is better.

Obviously the body/head effect is strain dependant, but if you pick based on trich development you can get different effects from the same bud. In any case you would pick when most of the trichomes have turned amber for that couch locked body stone effect, but this technique is more suited to Indica dominant varieties. The problem is you may not be able to wait that long with a Sativa dominant strain, the quality of the bud will have degraded by this stage. IMHO the best time for harvesting a Sat is when about half of the trichomes are cloudy, and the rest are still clear.
