Hopefully she'll pull through the next couple of weeks. I'm planning on starting the flush pretty soonish, perhaps next week, perhaps the one after, but soon. I'll keep you all updated...

Well, it's been a busy time everyone, the heat of boxing day was pretty nasty. A good friend has loaned me a carbon filter, and this has been installed rather rudimentarily on the outside of the growroom... (I know, I know, it should be inside pulling air through it before it leaves, but I haven't got that option, nowhere near enough room. ) The thing is fantastic, and should that person by some chance read this post, then I thank them most sincerely from the bottom of my heart for the loan. They may well have saved my crop from smell related identification.

 

Aaaaanyway, the carbon filter gets rid of the smell, that's for sure. But as my fan isn't designed for it, not to mention the unorthodox installation, this means the temps have jumped. 5 degrees. Topping out at 36. Although that was on boxing day, and since then we've had much cooler temps. To help offset these temps I've raised the lamp into the upper position on the reflector, and pulled the canopy down just a bit... (a couple cms, not much at all.) This has happily meant the highest temp was 33. Which I can live with for short periods. And as this crop is nearly finished, (less than 21 days to go now I think, probably less even ) I'm not too worried about that.

Okay, let's have some closeups shall we? First up, this is a side view close up on one of Jimmy's colas. Not long now, and the resin is really starting to pump out.... The very, very tips of some of the elder hairs are red, and the occasional spit of red hairs can be seen in the undercanopy...
