My first hydro set-up...need advice

Nice healthy looking plants you got there chev. Looks like you room to veg them a bit more before inducing flower if you want.

 

I hope your room is lightproof, because that cupboard certainly isn't.

Thanks, and yes, the room is lightproof. I'll wait until Saturday to turn them, I'm gonna top them and take some clones for my next grow first. It worked out a treat, and wasn't nearly as hard 2 do as I thought it would be. Anyone thinking about doing, go for it!! I won't speak too loudly until I pull my first crop off!

Anyway, I'll be making regular posts now I have my camera back. Anywayz.......... it's that time again

Veg them another 1 - 2 weeks and you should double your harvest.

Yes defintely leave them for another couple of weeks!

 

If you are worried about the height then use some green wire tie to pull the branches gently out to the sides of the pots allowing more of the centres to come up and more flowering sites....but dont pull the branches below 45 degrees....

My babies R still fine, getting healthier by the hour, if that's possible. I'll wait 2 weeks b4 turning them, I've got a pretty big wardrobe there, so I'll be cool. I have one other plant sitting at the bottom of the wardrobe, I'm going to put it outside when it's a bit bigger. Yes, I know it's too cold at the moment, but another 4 weeks and it'll be cool. It'll just bud early (I think!)

after the water goes throught your lava rocks are your pots elevated so all the nutes run back to the RESI ??????.

 

cuz i like hydro system maybe you can add a few more pots depending on size!!!

hey My pots R elevated so it can run back to my res. It's a recirculating setup, and I plan to add more, for sure!! Coz it's my first grow, I thought I'd get it down pat first, B4 I get greedy!
