That's what I was thinking too... I've never grown either strain themselves, but from the pictures I've seen of them she does look very Rhino dominant. There's already an amazing amount of crystals forming over the bud leaves after 30 days.

Is this where the C99 influence would come into the plant if the trait is going to show?? If my memory serves me correctly the C99 was made from seeds out of a Jack Herer bud??

I'm not too sure how much C99 influence will come through in the smoke itself, maybe Robbie GanjaSeed can shed a bit of light on this??

 

Great shots there Rodwal!! I hope the HK x Brz that I have here looks as good as the one in the shot... Mines only at 30 days and still forming the colas, but if she finishes anything like the photo you posted she will be a monster... Do you know what the HK x Brz yields at all??

 

I will take some more photos of the HK x Brz today and post one or two just to keep updated with the progress...

hey growmad...how's the grapefruit x haxe going?

Unfortuantely I have had to clone and cull the Grapefruit Haze as it grew into a bloody monster and I couldn't fit it in the clone room..

I did FIM them to try and buy myself a couple of weeks, but they still grew too big!!.. A lack of pre-planning I think, but I will learn from this time... So I thought it would be better to concentrate on the 2 main plants in the grow and keep the Afghani's in there for some extra smoke...

 

I have 4 clones of the grapefruit haze which I will have in the next grow, but when the clones have started to grow a little, I will post a few pics... But I gotta say when I was culling the gf x haze they really stunk like a sweet grapefruit which I hope is a good sign...

 

I still haven't sexed the clones yet so I'm hoping there's at least 2 females out of the 4... No harm in hoping I suppose...

well it sounds like they might work quite nicely outside, i have been tossing up the idea of including them in the next grow, but i think that i will definatly be including them...

Well the Hindu Kush x Bronze has started really filling out... They're at 43 days now and have started to show brown hairs over the last 4-5 days, but just seem to be bulking up now... ... Hard to tell how long she will take to finish, but I dare say the longer she goes the bigger she'll get...

 

I was thinking of harvesting the tops of the HK Brz when they're ready and keep the bottom half of the plant in flower as there seems to be a lot of under developed bud there that has the potential to form nice colas... One thing tho, what do i do about flushing in this case?? Do I flush for first harvest and reinstate nutes after, or only flush for second harvest?

 

The C99 x White Rhino is packing on a shit load of weight too, very impressive looking colas. I think these will be ready for flushing in about a weeks time by the look of them. They have a wickedly spicy smell to them and will for sure be a great smoke by look/smell... I reckon the HK x Brz has about 5 times more trichomes tho...
