New grower problems

Recommended Posts

Hello tarantula.

You are better of starting your own "topic" or "thread" as they are called. Posting in other people's threads with your own problems is often referred to as "Hijacking" someone else's thread and is frowned upon.

When you create your own thread, people will be more inclined to help you and it will get more exposure.

Edit - Hooray for fucking me, I told you's it was over watering from the get-go.

yeah.. thanks HG... and others..

One thing I guess I learned through this is just how easy it is to overwater coco...

backed off from watering everyday to every 2nd day and even that was too much. So now I just go by the moisture meter. When it is in the 1/3 section of the "dry" reading, I give it a good soak, let the water drain out completely by tilting it to one side and resist the temptation to water again for 3 days :peace:

Good stuff. I'd also take Hector and SukonmiSkunk's advice seriously as well, while it was over watering this time, next time it could be more serious. Prevention is better then a cure. Glad to see things back on track. Any updated pics?
