dont think ill be seeing any more snakes round my area... have had some pretty heavy down poors last 2 days and a few more expected in the coming weeks.. which is awsome for me... no more half shitting my self to death go to my babies and much less trips with water.... yay.. win win for shroomy

Spotted this on the road yesterday morning on the way home from a camping trip out west. It was slow moving and mostly played dead when I came close. Identification needed thanks

hey there RR . awesome specimen << ,looks like a classic example of a black headed Python , It has a maximum size of 2.5 -3 meter. your one there looks if it is pretty close ???,

Mainly a nocturnal snake , those found during the day are usually on the hunt for a female . or hang out near roads for the extra warmth especially early mornings??

Eats mainly other reptiles . occasionally small mammals

Your a lucky buggar , having all that wilderness at your doorstep. >

Next time i see a snake when i'm out in the woods i will take a picture fosure. Anyways some of those snakes are so gorgeous.

man i'm slightly jealous , i so want to see some in the wild , where i am in NSW its supposed to be crawling with red belly's but i have yet to see one.Lottsa blue tongues and dragons tho [funnel webs i can do with out].
