nute strength

Recommended Posts

Hi stoners

I'm in the early stages of a coco/perlite grow with Growth Technology coco nutes. Seedlings are 5 days old sativa and i'm feeding them 1/2 strength nutes as per directions on the bottle with a drop of superthrive. Problem is my ppm reading is only 600 at this strength. Seems a bit low to me :(

What do ya reckon guys? Should i up the strength a bit?

What's the e.c. of that reading? (a true measure of strength as opposed to a mathematical conversion of e.c.) Depending on the ppm meter you could be talking about 0.8 odd ec in the 700 scale or 1.2 ec if it's in the 500 scale....

Young plants don't need much. They'll soon tell ya when you're not giving them enough anyway.

Looking good buddy.

First shot is Red Devil/Hash plant which has been topped and LST'd.
