Water cooled HPS lights

OK . I think ive found a supplier of water cooled lights, made right here in oz.

 

Anyone ever heard of San Mateo Propagation in Mildura Vic.

 

Have not emailed then yet, but will soon and will post prices etc.

 

Seen some pictures on overgrow of his work and they very good.

Found a supplier in WA who sells the glass jacket water cooled lights - but they have to be bought in Germany and shiped to Oz. They do not keep them in stock. Turn around time of about 4-5 weeks

 

They fit any ballest/HPS setup and are $200 per jacket.

 

The supplier down in Victoria has got then too, but are plastic (made in oz) and deteriorate (go's white) with time. (This is what ive heard)

 

The glass jacket light runs so cool that you can put the light into the canopy, no more noisy air cooled fans going.

 

Costing:-

 

Jacket $200

Pump $50

200 littre tank $120

Hose $20

 

Total $390.00 for one light

Total $790.00 for three lights

 

A little bit pricey but then again the cost of air cooled shade and fan are also dear.

Dont do it mate, that path is fraught with hassles and big expense and heartbreak, i was conned by the local Hdro shop when i first started growing into buying one , i think it was Called "Hydro Jacket" and was made in South Aus, anyway pls read the following link to find out why i dont recomend them, also here's a couple of pics.

The guy at the shop said they were a bit trickey to set up!

 

The big question ----> do they keep your grow room cool?
