This thread has definitely turned me off ordering from them.

They seem to have a bad rep board-wide though...why?Is their stealth any worse than other seed vendors?

XPAT had a great plan to do seeds from AUSTRALIA,,,,,WHICH would of been great,,,BUT he hired a DICKHEAD in AUSTRALIA,who FUCKED up a lot of orders and sent the wrong seeds,,,,He had to sack that DICKHEAD,,,,,,I wont say who the DICKHEAD was cause he might delete my post(AGAIN).............

You're right, that is an awesome idea.

Pity the idea bombed, I'm ultra ULTRA paranoid about shipping stuff from overseas.

When you guys have checked the site regularly in the past, you can see a lot of seeds reduced in prices. It's because we were able to cut down costs on certain things.. Example: We also buy growing stuff of big companies and when they give a discount (because of long term businessrelationship) why should we keep this discount to ourselves? It is just a good gesture wich probably got misinterpertated.

 

What is the thing being paranoid about stealth? Should the package be nuclearproof or something? When your seeds arrive in a envelope that looks like a love letter... what is the problem? It arrived didn't it!!!??

Heya Simon yea the paranoid thing is because of the consequences of having ones mail intercepted by Customs, not only losing seeds but the address is often visited by police, ppl in the past have been arrestted and even jailed as a result of seed interception. or you lose youre 'safe house' address.... its a total head fuck just waiting for the seeds!!

there are lots of ppl who have never bought from overseas, the foremost reason being they cannot take the risk that comes from the attention of law enforcement, should their order be found

some other companies do use such good stealth that a cursory look by Customs and the package continues on its way. some cases of people even emailing asking where are seeds ! .. you know .. whats that xpat seeds on Everest's envelope ?? ...there you go thats why we are paranoid

i got some Xpat beans in and they look pretty damm nice too
