webgreetings.

First up, there is a new government survey taking place. I got the link from H*E*M*P* President Michael Balderstone this afternoon, NDARC offered H*E*M*P* a chance to provide some input and so I thought I would invite ozstoners ;O)--~

Anyway, work on the 'evils of hydge' has been slow, caused mostly by Bob's (nimfm.org H*E*M*P* Hour MC) truly inspired suggestion for a title... The Perils of Hide-Grow-Chronic Cannabis.....

till next

peace

;O)--~

And what feedback is HEMP going to give in this survey? If its anything that is likely to motivate our governments to make laws harsher for indoor growers I'll be very upset :peace:

webgreetings.

Where to from here?

over the next week or so we will be creating a webpage with the working title 'the many evils of hydge'

If there was one thing that inspired us to procede in this direction, it was a budmans post and his excellent 'rewrite' and continual efforts to unravel the gordian knot.

I thought to my self, instead of trying to encapsulate our 'opinion' into 2 paragraphs and half a dozen quotes in the mission statement was selling everyone short, which is why we did what we did, and now, as to what we are about to do.......

the first evil of hydge will be.. it's impact on cannabis law reform in the cities......

till next

peace

;O)--~

haha hes fucking you all in the ear.

Hope not, Wildflower. It is BigBong's and HempBar's cred on the line, not ours.

And, frankly, I don't give a toss what they personally believe or say in private, just as long as they don't rubbish us in public, or otherwise divide the (non-commercial) stoner community.

Thats how I feel Entyman.

Cheerz.

Budman :peace:

Good to see your gloves come off TOM, listen BB.org I've been polite towards you as I respect your blatant activism ,but pal stop BULLSHITTING because some people here know some of these people as well ,so stop BULLSHITTING ,the Holier than thou doesn't wash,TOM is right MOST people outside of the immediate NIMBY area take one look at some of you lot and think "loser hippies" which is stereotyping and I know otherwise but your WANK is shitting me, pure hippy organic BS MYTH.

I've smoked for 37+ years,33+ years daily,

1]HYDROPONICS IS A GROWING SYSTEM END OF STORY! BB.org you should know this and do, so you are BSing.

2] OUTDOORS WILL ALWAYS IN YOUR AREA PRODUCE STRONGER POT THAN INDOOR WITH IDENTICAL GENETIC STOCK -End of story

3]Smoko is NOT STONGER NOW THAN 37 years ago !-I'll concede its consistantly averagely stronger, however the best of today barely compares to the best of exotic original true breeding strains of yesteryear, strains grown by indiginous people on top of mountains in the Equatorial/tropical zones, unless you have smoked up these super exotics years ago before they were extinct/lost/diluted you cannot compare or comment. Its not just the sheer quantity of sticky resin that counts its the quality of whats in the resin that makes the difference, the ratio's of THC/THCV/CBD/CBN/ etc

4] its a pity you think yourself above answering DIRECT questions,I and others have asked questions of you and YOU RARELY answer, and when you do its vaguaries MIStruths and way to much BS.

5] Cannabis is cannabis ,no matter HOW its GROWN, you know like the Shakespear quote

"What's in a name? That which we call cannabis by any other name would smell as sweet."

(P.s. BigBong would be wise not to backflip on what he has agreed to agree to Imo , Just makes it all the more difficult for all of us...

... Especially for the Hempbars common standing in the Modern Cannabis Community. Imho.)

Just spotted this on their front page....

I'll leave it to others to rip to pieces in detail what appears to be the main issue (to my mind) with #2.... Dunno what kind of nutrients the organic plants are getting if it's not "dangerous chemicals", what, organic plants don't use nitrogen ions? Being a proponent of organics is one thing, claiming that fertilizers (sic) are dangerous chemicals is quite another....

Advice On Cannabis

1.

Use or possession of cannabis is against the law, although police sometimes appear not to enforce cannabis laws.

2.

Always try to smoke fresh outdoor organic cannabis, fertilizers are dangerous chemicals and indoor lights just ain't natural.

3.

If you decide to smoke cannabis, concentrate on getting high, not getting out of it, use it - don't abuse it.

4.

Driving and cannabis...(see what the experts say )

5.

If you have a history of mental illness, there may be a danger of precipitating a relapse. It is therefore safer to not to use cannabis to relax. If you intend to use cannabis, restrict yourself to no more than 2 joints a day and always have a friend with you in case you have trouble

6.

Taking any drug mixed up in smoke is harmful to the lungs. If you want to keep smoking cannabis consider buying a vapouriser and do not smoke cigarettes

7.

Cookies are not a safe option. If you don't know what you are doing, eat half and wait an hour. The effect can last longer, be more intense, induce paranoia, vomiting and be wasted due to passing out. Take care and don't eat too much.

8.

If you are pregnant, breast feeding or could become pregnant it is especially important not to abuse cannabis.

9.

If you buy cannabis try to avoid people who also sell other illicit drugs. In Nimbin a lot of heroin addicts sell cannabis on the streets to support their habit, often resulting in unsuspecting tourists being ripped off

Otherwise I have to agree with most of this.... what do you guys think?

I agree with you on #2 Luke, but would also add that the 'indoor lights just aint natural' part is simply pretentious bs :peace: Smoking just aint natural :toke:

#5 is funda'mentally' wrong. If you have a history of mental illness - you have a mental illness.

Cannabis is quite an effective medicine for many mental illness's. It's simply prohibition that adds anxiety and paranoia to the effective use and procurement of it as a medicine. B)

They are hitting on the schitzophrenic relapse into psychotic delusion thro cannabis use at a guess. A bad generalization as many others including those with depression could avoid suffering thro a little homegrown :peace:

#6 Should be changed to - While it's very nice to smoke cannabis, we advise a more healthy method called vapourization.

Perhaps an explaination on vapourizing techniques. :peace:
