If you aren't married, why don't you get her to change her address on her licence to her parents/friends place. Have her mail sent to a post office box. Then you can sign a tenancy aggrement and act as though you are renting the place of her?. This way she can "reasonalby" claim that she didn't know about it. There is no evidence to say that you are connected in any way (i.e Defacto Relationship). As far as LEO is concerned, your the tenant and she's the Landlord.

 

Plus if she is working as a Highschool teacher, she'd be on good money. So she'd benefit from this financially speaking through "Negative Gearing" to help reduce her Tax bill. It's a win/win situation for the both of you.
