High all My 20lt bucket has a water temp of 12 to 15 through the day not to sure of the night temps. I have it in a tent inside a shed, as this is the first one I have grown so I am not to sure if this is good, if not how could I bring up the temp. The temp in the tent is around 21 to 26 when I have been in there, sorry about all the Questions but still a noob

Hey all I've grown soil before twice but I'm new to hydro. I got some gear from a mate and was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what's what and how it all fits together. I have two pots identical to the one pictured - they have feeders at the top and two tubes going in at the bottom. There is a tub that I'm guessing is a reservoir. Then there is 2 pump looking things, one of which seems to have an air stone attached to it?

Few photo's of my new,BlueLab-Guardian PH=EC-Temp-Monitor. I already have a BlueLab Truncheon an have only had 1 prob with it an it was replaced with a new one from BlueLab with in 1 day of them checking it out an found that it was a faulty EC-Truncheon so I am sticking with that make of meter due to there top service an not pissing me around with any warranty prob's. When ya on a good thing stick to it I say. Going to calibrate my meter tonight or tomorrow as I have to make up some PH adjusted water an nutrient for my Babies that need to be transplanted in to coco in some small black plastic pots. Hi everyone, This is my first grow, im having major fluctuations in my PH. In 24 hrs after PHing my rez it drops from 5.8 to 4.5 up to 5.0! Big Drop!! I use bore water, its clean tho, bottle worthy and is PH 5.9 and EC 0.3 consistantly. Anyone had experience with bore water before? just wondering if there are some elements that could be messing with everything. Hi guys, just got my EC/TDS meter so i can check on things.. I already have a PH meter and PH in my Rez is at 5.9-6.1 in vege stage still Now.. I got my EC Meter What are reccomended levels for growing in hydroton clay balls? and how do i read my meter When people say " an EC of 1.8" what mesurement do i take that from? my EC/TDS meter has these options: - ppt ? - ppm ? - mS ? - uS (well its a backward u) ? which ones do i read and what are reccmended levels throughout vege and bloom stage?

hey there, my brain isnt working right. my grow tub is sitting on a small pallet to raise the drain hole to the same height of the water level in the rez. the drain hole from my grow tub is connected to the rez just above the water level so the drainage is going back to the rez by gravity. i can lift the grow tub any higher because of cabinet height and a lot of water seems to not drain back because the drain line isnt really going straight down into the rez, its going in a straight line (is that makes sense) can i put a return hole in the bottom of the rez? not above the water line? see how its above the water line, can it go under the water line? that way…

High all I have a 20lt dwc and the ph is up to 8.2. I have some ph adjustment coming, but is there anything I can do in the mean time to lower it the local plant shop don't have anything for hydroponics

Hi everyone, ive been growing outdoors for a few months now want to do some auto's in a small cabinet hydro system. my cabinet is 1.2m x 1m x 1.8m im running a 250W HPS and now have sufficient ventilation. i made a basic recircualting system with netted pots, clay pebbles and drip feeders. I have some seeds germinated on paper towl. Now i have everything set up, water is dripping slowly from each of the drippers. i have added my canna in a quarter strength mix for starting. 1. Now what do i do with my sprouts and the rock wool? 2. Do I put them in the rock wool, moist, and stick in the net pots with the clay and run the water system over it straigh…

High all I have a grow tent 1.2 x 1.2 x2 m with a 600w mh/hps and I am going to start a dwc bubble system. I have watched YouTube on starting off seeds, I have some ideas on starting but what would be the best way to start seeds and put them into the dwc As well I have two size net pots to use a 80 mm and 120 mm as this is a sit system what would be the best one to use. The seeds I have are a berry bomb for the first grow as this is for my wife's pain it is the first time any help would be good Cheers

Ok, more strange questions from me. You dont have to post a reply to say im a crazy weirdo..... i know aready. What would happen if you put aquarium bio media and product like http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Stability.html in a hydro system? Or using co2 in the water to regulate ph, like in an aquarium co2 system? Using aquarium water primer to get aged water quicker, would that neutralize some of the nutrients?
