Hey guys, want to know the latest in medicinal cannabis research? Coming up, over January 23 and 24, Green Flower Media will be streaming live, the Cannabis health summit. This is a live stream, and I'm assuming there will be opportunity to interact with the various speakers that will be attending the summit, though admittedly I only briefly viewed the post before coming here to pass on the info....

Hello to all oz stoners It's only day 3 so there's not too much to report but we have reserved this name with ASIC Medical Cannabis Research Board (Australia) P/L The Australian and state governments have had plenty of time to look out for the health interests of cannabis users. They have failed us in every respect. Patients with serious and chronic illness have been denied acess to this great herb which has proven medicinal applications. It will be set up by users for users. We will be doing our own research into the benefits of cannabis and lobbying for protection for users, growers and compassion clubs. The P/L will need to be shown until exemption by ASIC. lo…

http://www.painnewsnetwork.org/stories/2015/10/28/new-setback-for-medical-marijuana-spray By Pat Anson, Editor A British drug maker has announced more disappointing results from clinical studies on the use of a medical marijuana spray to treat cancer pain. That was the same finding the company reported in January from an earlier study involving nearly 400 patients in the United States, Mexico and Europe.

A new study from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration finds that drivers who use marijuana are at a significantly lower risk for a crash than drivers who use alcohol. And after adjusting for age, gender, race and alcohol use, drivers who tested positive for marijuana were no more likely to crash than who had not used any drugs or alcohol prior to driving ....For marijuana, and for a number of other legal and illegal drugs including antidepressants, painkillers, stimulants and the like, there is no statistically significant change in the risk of a crash associated with using that drug prior to driving.
