Mh Or Hps?

Hello every1,Just wondering what people use to veg there plants MH or HPS as i have been shown photos of this done and it was beautiful but will you get a better result using MH?MH is sylvania HPS lucagrow so what do u guys think is best MH or HPS for veg?Thanks and goodluck to every1

hey fellas, Got a couple of ?'s . i've just got my setup going today and doing a trial run to see how often to set my water pump . and how long to have it running until it fills the grow wool up . i found that about 15 mins to fill them up . my other ? is it's been running now for close to 4hrsw and the grow wool doesn'tr seem to be drying out very much . the temp inside ie 27degrees. and the lamp is about 80 cms above the wool is that to high . cheers for any info

I currently have my plants on 14 hrs of light and 10 of dark. Is this the optimum for veg growth. Couldit do harm or cause bad growth in the plants? what is good light cylce? cheers ::

I gunna ask a stupid question here. I often read about thermostats, night fans, humidistats, etc. Is there any harm just leaving oscillating fans on the plant all day, during lights on, regardless of temperate, and just leaving the exhaust on all night, during lights off, regardless of humidity? Interested in responses.Thanks

Hey i have a little section of my sliding built-in and over the past 7 days i,got a small container put cotten balls on the bottem made them damp and put 3 healthy looking seeds into it & put a small 9W desk lamp fluro over it 6 days later they all had roots just over half a cm today i took them out and put one in a pot filled with vermiculite and potting mix about 75% / 25% mix then i put the pot back under the 9W fluro and left the other two pots outside (due to lack of space and lighting) tomorrow i plan to go out and buy two 20watt compact fluros and a friend of mine is going to use some chords and fittings to get them up and running ,so i was wondering how you t…

high all. i was just wondering if compact fluros could be used instead of hps? i jjust dont have the money for them right now and was wondering if i used 2 or 3 compact fluros would i still get a good grow? thanks in advance.

I have a Matsushita Blue Actinik 2' Fluoro, and i have 2 4' 36W Cool Whites, i have the blue about an inch away and the whites are about 1' away ( i need to re-arrange my cupboard :S ) anyways, the whites over power the blue in brightness, will this affect the spectrum of light that the plant is receiving?? i have other lights i can add, Cool Daylight 18W (100W output) CF, and also Warm Daylight CF 18W (100W output).

I have a Bud-Out room that is 12ft Long,8ft high,and 4 ft wide.I have six cool white 40w Flo. on the side walls,(2) 400w Mh, and (1) 250 Hps..Is this enough?I have five plants in there now.One finishing off. The other four are just starting to BUD! i need some help venting my shed i would like it to be vented out of the roof but i dont want one of those big bulky whirly bird things to sticking out the top of my shed but i really need the hot air from the sun hitting the roof vented i was looking at a little solar powered fan heres the info Solar Exhaust Vent Cat. 2598 BIAS Price $59.90 Exhausts up to 680 cubic feet per hour. Diameter 215mm. located at http://www.biasboating.com.au/hatch_n_vents.html do u think this fan will work for a 4.5 x 6.5 x 6 shed? the grow chamber is already being vented out of the shed so this fan is only to cool down around the roof area of the shed
