It's debateable whether it would turn hermie, but I suppose reducing light times to that low could conceivably be enough of a stress.... But not likely the only reason it did.


Yeah, it'll just make it a quicker finish to the flowering, sacrificing yeild. The 12/12 is used because it allows plenty of light and enough dark to maintain flowering responses. Course, some plants will flower at 16/8 day night too, but 12/12 will definitely flower it. :D
