I would like to bring my flowering rooms 12 hour light cycle back 2 hours so I start it earlier and it finishes earlier. How could I do this without screwing with the flowering plants?

Hi, I'm after assistance with starting up a small grow room. I have been growing in the bush for almost 50 years. Between the bushfires, termites, storms, disease etc, i'm over it. Too old to slog through the bush any longer. Especially for little return.......I'm looking at led setups, but other than reading whatever bullshit the sellers have written, I know nothing. What I wish to know, has anyone genuinely grown decent buds with led lighting. I'm not real cashed up, so I was looking at a " King ll 1200 panel, 5 watt diodes.. They are 400 odd bucks. I know there are much better lights, but i'm not investing that sort of money on an experiment.. Despite my lack of knowl…

I was just wondering how much suction I should be getting through my brand new Carbon filter?... It arrived today, 425cfm filter matched with 260cfm fan for my 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent... I am just waiting til lights on to set it up.. The thing is I hooked it all up outside the tent.. Fan sucking from filter but I don't seem to be getting a lot of suction through the filter. If I light a cigarette the smoke will barely attract toward it unless its a few mills away from the prefilter.. How much suction should I be getting? I have never used carbon filter so I don't know what's normal.. I have heard about negative pressure in the tent but I cant see how that is possible wi…

Good day all, Bit of a newbie here, however been searching the dreaded net for the best cheapest options. These Lushpro COB 200w lights seem to be the go as far as an ebay special, just wondering if anyone else has used them or similar? Im just a casual smoker, so not after a huge setup, just a small grow tent /2-3 auto type plans. Tossing up between cfl 250w option or run the led. Whatever doesn't suck the life out of the power im guessing. I have some nice beans here I want to get going asap, but torn between which way to go, any replies welcome, Cheers.

Hey OS Community So i brought some inline fans a few years ago for a ducting project in the house, they were just basic inline fans nothing special. They are what i have at the moment, budget prevents an upgrade to some of the nice Hdyro specific units i see around :-( Question is, i need to be able to control the fans manually for the time being. Whats the best option for these fans? Will update with a pic of the fan shortly PS I have heard some speed controllers make the fans buzz, i will take preventative measures to reduce noise as much as possible in other areas. but this will piss me off

Hey OS My Marsii 400w is working a treat for me and my single young Christmas tree, but I know it could do better. After seeing many different opinions all over the web I was interested in what OS thought. My light is 19" from the main top, being my first plant and wanting the best I'm worried if I get it too close it will bleach the bud. Hey guys, Does anyone know of a calculator or the equation to work out how much airflow in m3h, CFM or L/s ( i dont care) is needed per 600w lamp in my case in cooltubes? I want to make sure im getting enough airflow in a new build coming up. I want to run 5 x 600w in a line of cooltubes with the option to make it 6 x 600w at a later stage. Thanks

I've got some lab grade activated carbon(2t) which was used for trout farm. Can I use this carbon in a way to help me with humidity control(indoors)? I have read of contraptions called scrubbers left inside rooms to help combat odour but can I build something similar to combat humidity? TIA

I just received a new wing reflector for a Fluorescent Lamp and the plug that goes into the wall socket has our normal slanted top pins but the 3rd earth pin is round.
