Yeah they are ceiling batten lamps... not high intensity discharge grow lights, which is what nici is looking for... and actually those lights don't actually filter, the -ions are sticky and they grab onto the smelly molecules making them too heavy to hang in the air... these molecules then congregate close to the floor... well away from adult noses but not so good for small humans and other pets.

Got this from ebay where i bought mine "This ion125 oxylight silently produce negative ions to help clean, freshen and purifiy the air. When switched on, the negative ions will cause allergens in the air such as pollen, mould spores, dust, and animal dander to adhere with each other, forming particles of 'clumps' heavy enough to fall out of the air you breathe, leaving you with cleaner, fresher air."

But i don't know if it does harm effect with pets who are smaller than us, i hope no bad effect.
