Watson sent him Monday, sentencing Chapman, 52, to 30 days for violating his conditional discharge for attempted seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested in May in Lockport with crack cocaine in his possession. All rights reserved Ottawa must have a heck of a pot headache after losing its latest medical marijuana case in the Federal Court of Appeal. Remember years ago when sick people who needed cannabis to relieve their symptoms had to get special permission from the federal health minister to smoke pot? Since then, it's been one legal fight after another to bring in common-sense reforms on the issue. On Monday, the Federal Court of Appeal upheld a January ruling that quashed Ottawa's pot monopoly. Under Health Canada's insane regulations, l…

For the second time in as many months a person has been charged and fined for possesion of scissors used in connection with a dangerous drug. This is pathetic, the Qld police continue to label harmless stoners as criminals and to seize and charge someone for possesing scissors is further proof that the QPS are nothing but a bunch of wankers. What next? The bowl? the table the bowl was on? All these corrupt smurfs will be patting each other on the back thinking they are some type of fucking heroes. Yet they can't stop violent drunken assualts, They can't keep drink drivers off the road and they can't put a dent in the supply of hard drugs. Fuck this state I'm mo…

Police vow to end 'cannabis capital' By Doug Robertson October 04, 2008 http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,24445012-421,00.html POLICE are vowing to end South Australia's reputation as the nation's cannabis capital by unleashing a series of raids on hydroponic stores and "grow houses". Seizing on laws to come into force this month, police will target hydroponic stores they believe may be smuggling cannabis interstate. The laws ban the possession of about 30 types of hydroponic equipment - including industrial-strength lights, exhaust fans, plant bud strippers and carbon filters - unless the owners can prove they are being used to grow vegetables. In an inter…

NRC Handelsblad: Officer Daniel, what is so wrong about growing cannabis? Daniel: For a long time, we've had the image of people growing a few plants in the attic. It began in the 1970s, when idealistic young people w…
