GYMPIE detectives have seized an array of illegal drugs, utensils and a carpet snake after raiding 15 addresses in the region as part of operation Gulf Sherman yesterday.

Plain clothes detectives arrested three people in Gympie, two in Tin Can Bay and two in Rainbow Beach during the day-long operation but in one Gympie home police uncovered a stash of dangerous drugs destined for the local market.

Detective Senior Constable Nigel Bull headed up operation Gulf Sherman and said the raids had been very "productive."

He said in one Gympie raid police arrested a woman after uncovering and seizing amphetamines, LSD, cannabis, hash oil, marijuana seeds, cash, bongs, pipes, scales, syringes and other material used for in connection with illegaldistributing drugs.

There was a substantial amount of drugs located in the home," Snr Const Bull said.

"It will take a lot of dangerous drugs off the streets of Gympie."

He went on to say seven people had been arrested on 26 drug related charges including one Rainbow Beach man who had been charged under the Nature Conservation Act for holding an animal, namely a carpet snake, without authority.

Snr Const Bull said the snake had been handed over to the National Parks and Wildlife officers at Rainbow Beach and would be relocated into the wild.

Gympie CIB instigated the drug raids after receiving information from Crimestoppers and police informants.

Snr Const Bull said police were taking a proactive approach to reduce drug and property related crime in the district and help from the community was essential for to help police to catch criminals.

"Anyone with any information about suspected drug or criminal activity can contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Gympie Police," Snr Const Bull said.

"Informants' identities will be secure and people can remain anonymous if that's what they want."

Police say to be suspicious of people who have large numbers of people visiting there house, at all hours of the day, strange smells coming from residences or any other suspect behaviour.

They advise people to stay away from suspicious homes.

"Clandestine drug labs are volatile and can be very dangerous, they have been even known to explode and destroy buildings," they said.

Those charged will face Gympie Magistrates Court at a date to be set.

So don't have visitors during all hours of the day and don't fart in case someone thinks it's a strange smell.

See here in the above quotes from Police, tactics used; Fear... instil fear and suspision amonst the general public about their neighbours .. divide the public and conquer them to the point where they will report to the State on their fellow man ...

what evil, sick tatics the State is prepared to employ to control the people and the lenghts it will go too to pluck its citizens from the peace of their own home and imprison them ...

The same region again.

Interesting to note they claim to have put a dent in the trafficking of drugs with the $10,000 dollar amphetamines seizure. I don't know how gympie goes on a friday night but all I see this denting is the desperate 4am to 6am desparado trade.

When are these cops, smurfs, flatfoot, corrupt, biased, ill-informed, poorly educated, brainwashed, egotisticle, sometime criminal

public servants going to get it?
