Police have seized 6.5kg of cannabis and almost 70 mature plants in three unrelated incidents in Ballajura, Malaga and Girrawheen.

A stash of allegedly stolen goods and 2.5kg of cannabis were found when Joondalup detectives searched a house in Girrawheen yesterday.

Police spokesman Sergeant Greg Lambert said that four flat screen televisions, ten laptop computers and an off-road motorcycle were among the 150 items found at the house.

Three people were arrested and charged with stolen goods and drug related offences.

A 35-year-old Girrawheen man will face Perth Magistrates Court today on five counts of receiving stolen property.

A 41-year-old man and a 52-yar-old woman have been charged with drug related offences and will appear before a magistrate at a later date.

In a separate incident, Joondalup detectives had been investigating the residents of the house in relation to drug dealing and receiving stolen property.

Sergeant Lambert said that police acted on intelligence when they raided two commercial factory units in Malaga yesterday.

The raid by Morley detectives seized 60 mature cannabis plants and 120 seedlings as well as more than a kilogram of dried cannabis head and 2.2kg of leaf.

Sergeant Lambert said that the drugs were grown hydroponically inside several caravans and a sea container at the units.

A 35-year-old man and a 22-year-old man will face Perth Magistrates Court on counts of cultivation of cannabis and the intent to sell the drug.

In the incident in Ballajura, police were called to a domestic disturbance around 12am this morning.

Sergeant Lambert said that when police arrived at the Ballajura home, they noticed a small quantity of cannabis drying on a rack near the carport.

Police found eight mature cannabis plants in the backyard and almost a kilogram of cannabis after searching the house further.

A 43-year-old Ballajura man has been charged over the drug offences.
