Hi, my friends were supposed to come over Thursday night and we were going to smoke some weed, so I rolled a few joints each for the 4 of us... then a while passes and they haven't shown up yet, so I decide to start smoking, then I just keep smoking until they're all gone, I texted my friend and he said he and his misses had a fight so he, his misses, and my other friend won't be over that night. I was really stoned... I ate A LOT. A full packet of bacon (fat included because I didn't really care at the time) at least 11, possibly more, slices of bread with margarine and a full packet of those milk coffee cookies. Friday I was still feeling kind of stoned, kind of reall…

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I believe it to be of some relevance. http://timesofindia....ow/15221982.cms " WASHINGTON: Scientists have developed a new drug which they claim can make you lose weight and keep it off for a longer period. Researchers from National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism in the United States found that the new drug increases sensitivity to the hormone leptin, a natural appetite suppressant found in the body. The study was published in the journal Cell Metabolism. "By sensitizing the body to naturally occurring leptin, the new drug could not only promote weight loss, but also help maintain it," senior study author Georg…

From cnet.com from pcmag.com Can't argue with protecting children online, but sure can question the methods. IMHO parents need to take responsibilty for their kids online safety, either by monitoring their internet usage or putting strict limitations on it. Your right to online privacy is under attack: facebook monitors your conversations, google caches your every mov, and now the government wants your isp to store every byte that crosses your connection for 2yrs (so that leo can dig through it looking for wrongdoing).

Telstra has been accused of tracking the internet use of its Next G mobile phone users and sending their internet history to a company in the United States. One of the telco's customers discovered that when he visited a website using his Next G network in Australia, a server in the United States would visit the same address almost instantly. Telstra says it is collecting the information for use in a new internet filter product, but internet users are outraged and are demanding the Australian Privacy Commissioner investigate. The tracking was confirmed by Mark Newton, who up until late last year was one of the longest serving technical engineers at Australian internet comp…

Sovereign Man Notes from the Field Date: May 31, 2012 Reporting From: New York City One of breakout standup routines from the late, great George Carlin was his 1972 monologue "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television." In the presence of polite company, I shall not repeat them... but rest assured, the routine is still hilarious to this day. I wish I could say the same about the Department of Homeland Security... I wish I could say this is all a big joke... that the government's "377 words you can never use online" is just some stupid comedy routine. But it's not. And you just can't make this stuff. After vigorous resistance, the Department of Homeland Security was fi…

THE victims of an "evil" South Australian pedophile police officer have welcomed his public downfall, almost 30 years after they were horrifically abused. Two women, who cannot be identified, told the District Court that Graham Bennett Fraser - a decorated former chief inspector - could no longer hide from his grotesque criminal actions. Their victim impact statements detail the physical, sexual and emotional abuse they suffered during the 1980s while Fraser rose to prominence in the ranks of SAPOL. "Graham, you can no longer hurt me... now everybody knows you are a pedophile - the scum of the earth," one of the women said. "The statute of limitations you and the police…

The ABC's 7.30 has gained exclusive access to a rare meeting where the heads of rival motorcycle gangs have vowed to fight new laws designed to halt the wave of bikie related violence sweeping the country. What started out with a few shootings in western and south-western Sydney several months ago has erupted into a spate of drive-by attacks. Senior members of the country's most notorious bikie groups - the Hells Angels, The Rebels, The Lone Wolves, the Comancheros, the Nomads, the Black Uhlans - gathered on Monday night in a clubhouse in Western Sydney. At the meeting, several of the bikies said the violence showed the code of honour had broken down between gangs. "Enoug…

PRESCRIPTION medications have been linked to more than three-quarters of all drug overdose deaths in Victoria, a coroner has found. And nearly half of the 338 Victorians who died from drug or alcohol overdoses in 2010 had taken sleeping or anxiety pills, coroner Audrey Jamieson found. The Victorian Alcohol and Drug Association has called on the State and Federal governments to address the hidden crisis of prescription drug deaths. In 2010, 137 Victorians died from prescription medication alone, compared with 50 from illicit drugs and 21 from alcohol, while the remainder died from different combinations of these. Prescription drugs included diazepam, codeine, oxycodon…
