Honahlee & medical access
I've been self medicating my rheumatoid arthritis for years. That's how I ended up on this great gardening forum! But I had never found good info on how to legally access med cannabis in AUS. My doctor is a nice guy and does a good job with the standard meds, but avoids my questions on cannabis. I just found this website and it has the clearest & most useful info I've found to date! Links to SAS docs, list of treatable conditions, flow charts for each state, etc. Just thought I'd pass it on for others here in similar circumstances... https://honahlee.com.au/

Testing Cannabis oil
Hi I have just grown and harvested my first two indoor plants. I think it was a success with one and half pound of heads weighed up. I've gone through the process of making oil and ended up with 30mls from 12oz of buds with the other 12 in the freezer for the next batch later on. My question is does anybody know where I could get my oil tested in Australia .

Uses of medicinal marijuana?
Cures my sleep walking. Ever since I was a teenager, EVERY night I would violently sleepwalk. One night I ran and jumped down the stairs in my house in my sleep. Got very injured. Went to the doctor, tried different sleeping medications. Nothing worked, still slept walked. Anxiety killed me, what if I ran out into the road when sleep walking? What if I die? One day I was hanging out with friends, took a hit of cannabis and that night my sister commented that I didn't sleep walk. Ever since then, I don't sleep walk, granted I take at least one small hit from a vaporizer before bed. The nights that I don't (Traveling, or something else) I sleepwalk every night. It's the O…

In which he states "The Government would encourage medicinal cannabis product manufacturers and suppliers to apply for inclusion of their products on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) for them to be fully assessed for quality, effectiveness and safety." But the costs involved in any such approvals are exorbitant to say the least, making them only accessible to the big pharmas who have the structures and frameworks in place to cover such costs to be able to make …

Opioid exit drug
I gave some coco caps to a bloke who is desperately trying to get off prescription opioids to which he is an addict after a bad work injury 5 years ago. He was taking 4 coco caps a day while eliminating opioids completely. He is now on one to two caps a day and is over the shakes and sweats. His temperament has calmed and he is going well so far. An excellent result! No more costly opioids and lessening doctor visits.

Topicals, Edibles and roadside drug tests
Hi medical ozstoners, this a long post and not a simple question, but if you want to take time to read it, thanks in advance. So, in this thread I was hoping to have a discussion about cannabis topicals (creams applied to the skin) edibles and, ahem…suppositories and how they may or may not show up on roadside drug tests used by Australian police (as distinct from smoked cannabis). A bit of background to explain why I’m interested in this - I’ve never actually used cannabis myself in any form, but a while back I became curious about trying homemade topicals (like a coconut oil infusion) to see if they helped with chronic muscle pain, and as a general relaxant. So I st…

PTSD - urgent help
Hi all, I have PTSD and depression related to my military service. I have been taking prescription drugs for years and am on the best combination I've found but I am still unhinged, aggressive, depressed and often reckless and suicidal. Until recently I had never tried cannabis, but was fortunate that a wonderful Person supplied me with some CBD oil over the Christmas period and it literally changed my life for the few months I was taking it. Over 3 months I was able to reduce all my antidepressants/mood stabilisers by 50% and reflux disappeared completely. I was also able to cut-out Valium and Alcohol. After initial adjusting, I took the CBD inside gelatin capsules at…
