MEDICINAL CANNABIS WARNING / DISCLAIMER

There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

  1. Wanted QLD Brisbane Doctors Cannabis Prescription

    Anyone who can give me details on what doctor to go to I have seen Crusaders posts in the Cannabis on prescription ( Queensland Crusader has a doctor that will give a script for cannabis but he can't find any legal cannabis dispensaries I am after a doctor who will give scripts if there are any dispensaries that people know of if there are any post them here. Also any of you guys know any info regarding this post will be great! I have a court case coming up and your help is needed!

    i was sort of diagnosed with ADHD by a psychiatrist after a suicide attempt a few years ago.I spent 10 days in a mental ward of the hospital.after reading heaps of articles on ADHD the shrinks conclusion seemed to gell with me.I suffered impuslive behaviour,actions,speech etc was disruptive at school etc.Teachers and parents tried to belt it out of me to no avail. As a teenager my behaviour was the same,fighting drinking drug taking,real risk taking behaviours which continued into my adult life.I really should have died young or ended up in jail after certain instances.In hindsight cannabis actually had the opposite effects on my behaviour by relaxing me,making me laugh…

  5. Who else deals with constant pain?

    So I have daily pain and have since I was 16, shoulder dislocation , then multiple redislocations now it's happens so much I forgotten how many times. I've had 3 surgerys now I am suppose to be going in for another in a few months , but not sure of I can afford to take time off. Worst thing about it is I moved city's / state no next to no one where I now live, so no hook up. now good ol mj is my only saviour she puts me to bed at night an let's me do work doing the day , I had been on heavy painkillers and pretty much a bag full of prescription drugs they fucked with me so much I threw them away and started smoking Now any other daily pain dealers on this forum? …

So here it is : Cannabis As A Medicine <--- Can Watch It There (Might take a few Mb's tho) It's a pretty decent collaboration with Only Doctors and Experts discussing the Numerous Medical Benefits of Cannabis. There needs to be a whole lot more of these types of Doco's. Good to hear Dr. Tashkin Summing up all of his studies (from over 30yrs).   7. Treating Epilepsy with Cannabis

    [/size Hi, this is my first post - thanks in advance to anyone who reads this and sincerely grateful to anyone who can help. I see there have been previous threads on the topic of treating epilepsy with cannabis. I would be great to read some updates on the continued and long term use of cannabis to prevent seizures. My 29 year old son has had epilepsy for the past 10 years. He has never taken conventional (??) medication - his doctor and I considered the potential costs/side effects were too risky given he had infrequent seizures. Sadly, the frequency of seizures has increased this year and I now have no choice but to administer some kind of anti-epileptic treatment…

  12. Best strain for medical use?

    Hi All, firstly this is my first post so hello all, this site looks amazing. : ) i was watching a few doco's on the medical use of cannabis and must say it looks like if has huge potential. they did say in the doco that you really want good levels of all 4 active chemicals not just THC which most ppl breed for. so was wondering what strain would be the best to grow? would it be better to grow a more "wild strain" ?? any advice would be great because I'm a newbie. thanks ssdd

    I was just having a bit of a look around and found this section in the TGA http://www.tga.gov.a...-guidelines.pdf According to this terminally ill patients are able to use ANYTHING they need. All other patients are able to use whatever they need as long as they get approval from a TGA official.... Maybe we should be talking to the TGA instead of NCPIC..
