Hello all First of all I have just got a '21kg master foods mayonaise' bucket today and don't know how many litres it holds yet. Anyone out there happen to know? otherwise I will measure it out myself. Anyway it looks to be around 20L, so I need to get an air pump for my experimental DWC setup after sciard fly and spidermite ruined my last plants in soil. What size pump should I get? I need it to run one ceramic airstone in the bubbler and one in the nutrient tank which im going to put 40L of nutrient in (is this right for one bubbler?) can anyone recommend a root zone accelerant which i can use to stimulate root growth? something that can be used with h202? i used to get a nice big tap root coming through the slab and lately root growth hasnt been anywhere near as impressive

Can anyone out there help me out with my first DWC grow? I just need to know what medium to use so I don't get ANY insects or mites of any type in the medium [mainly fungal gnats, which I HATE] I was thinking of lava rocks? How do I grow without using a medium in a DWC setup using net pots. Do the roots just sit in the net exposed to light or...what? Any suggestions and information is appreciated treestump

anyone used weight plus by nulife (its a pk additive but not 13/14 instead its 9/17 i think). just wondering would i add this in the same way as canna pk? (i.e. once at wk 3 and wk5) also nulife mega bud. i think this is an organic additive. which means dont use if im using h202 right?

Just bought a litre of Part A & B of CanadianXpress coco grow nutes to give them a go on my up comming grow. If they go alright in grow I'll give them a try in bloom as well. Ok people - I have a grow in 12/12 HERE I am asking people who have used PK13/14 how they have used it and specifically if they have used it in Coco medium for there opinion and advice on it's use. From the lable: "PK12/14 is a dynamic mineral flowering enhancer from Holland" It goes on to say it is a 'additive' and is used in addition to f;pweroimg mutrients during the flowering stage. contents is high in Phospherous (P2O5 13%) and Potassium (K2O 14%). It influences metabolism of the plant. When to use "Add once, 3 -4 weeks before harvest to a full nutrient tank. Use for 1 week only". Now this is the point where I diverge from it stated use. hey got a few plants growing, 1 i mainly want to concentrate on, 400w and its about 3ft tall, stems coming off it are around 30cm in length. i just repotted into a 35ltr pot, and io want to start giving it some kind of fertiliser other then the stuff i add to the ph adjusted water.. and ideas of some soil fertiliser stuff i should get.. i got some blood n bone.. if thats handy ? ta

Hi peeps, I have searched for "boosters" in the outdoor Grow posts. It came up with 2 search results. I read one who used "Advanced Nutrients", checked out the web site & after considering $ & aviliability I am not a happy chappy. So, If I could ask some people for some brand names of suitable for outdoors otherwise I will use my COGr- Flores. I have been using 'dynamic Lifter Liquid Concentate' & a tea soppn of 'osmocote' (not nuch I know, but I am cautious and tbh don't have a clue. ever had a green thumb outdoors Thanks !

Hey guys.. Well, im a bit behind schedule.. Okay, I got a fair few q’s, so here I go.. Whats the best potting mix/soil ? well, not the best, but something good, can you guys name some ? prices… ? What sort of nutrients do you give outdoor plants ? If I grew my plants to 30cm tall under lights, on 18/6, then chucked them outdoors, the light cycle would be completely different.. and they wouldd prolly start to flower right ? what light cycle should I start my plants under, so they will continue to veg once I put them outdoors ? Aspirin (acetyl salicylic acid) also is effective. Dissolve two tablets in a quart of water and apply the solution as a foliar spray. anyone do this or ever heard of it??? btw - 1 quart = @ 950 ml

hi how often and for how long to water rockwool? i used to do it 15mins every 4 hours when lights on. but i got root rot (pythium) too wet. now i got digital timers. doing it 1 min every 3 hrs in vegetative stage, and 2 min every 3 hrs in flower. not using drippers. water coming out of 4mm hoses. in 1 min they get about 3lts of water. 200lt reservoirs. thanks all

Hi all, i am just getting ready for my 2nd grow, this time i want to use some nutes suitable for a 100% coco grow. I have a big 80L tub that i will store my water in, i plan to hand water just because its easy for me. If i add my nutes and adjust the ph level in this 80L tub, what is the best way to keep it fresh, the water could possibly be sitting there for a few weeks until i need to top it up again. I have a medium sized air pump with a large stone to keep the water air rated and it pumps out enough air to swirl the water around a little tiny bit. I just know that water loses its natural nutrients (or what ever ya wanna call them) when left for 24hours even. …

hey how much superthrive do you use ? i have a brand new bottle, except the label is faded a little & i cant read any instructions. does anyone know what ml of superthrive i should be feeding my plants ? my plants are 20-30cm tall now if that helps at all ? thanks
